Susan Janse van Rensburg

Susan has been in business since the tender age of 19. In the years since husband-and-wife team - Christo and Susan has been building several businesses together with the help of an amazing team.

Susan started off in the banking industry, moved to the family’s tyre business after her first child was born and in later years started a business doing property management.

In 2013, after being in business in Nelspruit for 24 years, the couple together with their children, moved to Gauteng and there the relationship with cheese started.

First it was buying and selling small quantities and later the couple bought Mejeri from the previous owner. They have been working hard to place their own stamp on the business and it is a learning process for all involved. Coming from tyres and property to cheese was ab huge jump.

Building a team is a passion for Susan and working towards the same goal is what she aspires to. Her philosophy is that if you want to have anything done only your way then you can start a one-man business and never have the opportunity to really grow to your full potential.

A team is needed to build a business and at Mejeri this is our mission.

Growth lies in having a team that can enhance your own short cummings, in order for you to focus on your own strong points and bring that to the team.
